And also pronounce it properly. Any MAN-ah sayers will be taunted mercilessly. Sword of Mana and Final Fantasy Adventure will be counted separately, if only because I prefer FFA.
1) Secret of Mana - Not surprising since this is probably my favorite game ever. I can't remember how many times I've played it.
2) Legend of Mana - Poor LoM. Everyone hates you for being different. But I still love you. After all, you've got remarkable character customization, Sproutlings, Li'l Cactus, and the ability to kill off half the NPC cast.
3) Final Fantasy Adventure - There were some nifty ideas here, like the little super attack bar. Sure most of the super attacks were either throwing the weapon or have a longer range with it, but it was fun to fly across the screen with the sword. Plus you get a ROBOT CHOCOBO.
4) Sword of Mana - Ranks below FFA because in an effort to have the story make more sense they made it more confusing. Did the vampire boss really need to have a backstory? No. He's the fucking vampire boss, end of story. Plus they got rid of the ROBOT CHOCOBO.
5) Seiken Densetsu 3 - It was okay, but nothing I'd play through again. Even with all the different class combinations, I can't stand the "fight your way through the thematic stages to face the robot master at the end" feel of the second half.
