So I'm locked into a family contract for a while (it actually doesn't save me that much money, but it helps everyone else too), but I've always got my eye on cool cell phones. Right now, I'm using a Sony Ericsson T616 (http://www.mobiledia.com/phones/sonyericsson/t616.html), which is portable (good battery life & small size) and has served all my Bluetooth needs. But it doesn't have much memory, and I'm always eyeballing MP3 ringtones (MIDI ones aren't irritating enough, I guess).

Motorola has an interesting lineup (http://www.phonescoop.com/news/item.php?n=1128) coming up. I've seen a few RAZR (http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/hellomoto/experience/v3/flash/default.shtml)s on the street, but there's more 4LTR stuff coming. Observe the PEBL with its interesting flip-latch mechanism (http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/cellphones/motorola/live-from-cebit-motorola-pebl-latch-video-035605.php). I think the SLVR (http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000527031965/) and its variants (http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000170035408/) (especially the V270 SLVRlite) are dead sexy. Finally, the Borneo (http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000417034826/) is just so slick! And I think I see some Falcoon art (http://falcoon.hp.infoseek.co.jp/gallery2.htm) on that screen.

All evolutionary developments, but still hot.
