Starting in June, Google started hitting my iGoogle gadget XML definition file like crazy. I didn't notice until yesterday, when I exceeded my bandwidth quota. The XML file-- which is about 113KB-- accounted for 95% of bandwidth used. :p
I've removed the offending file and submitted an alias request to Google to try and get them to load the file from Google Code instead of from Mostlycloudy. It said it could take a week to go through, so I suspect a human has to process them by hand (meaning probably Monday at the earliest). In the meantime, some 35,000 users of my iGoogle gadget won't be able to use it and will send me angry emails.
My web host has granted me a few more gigs of bandwidth to see me through the month.
