Hamsters eat brains. I've been working at Petco for the last few months, and recently two of our hamsters killed a third and started feasting on its brains. Mama hamsters eat their babies. It says here (http://www.petplace.com/small-mammals/cannibalism/page1.aspx) they do it when they think there won't be enough food for the litter. Maybe you aren't feeding them enough. Maybe the name of the store should be PetHate. Think about it.

It seems like hamsters are just creepy. Good think they're little and not the size of Cadillacs. Then we'd really be screwed.

These were pretty much full grown hamsters though. And the first ones to do it had plenty of food. The other day someone forgot to put food into a new hamster cage, and we ended up with another brain eater. That one makes a little more sense, but it's still really fucked up. I hate hamsters.
